Add in actions
Although a portrait of a subject sitting or standing is a good image for extra interest add an action into the work to make the viewer use their imagination.

New piece of work
Even the best of us make silly errors. Imagin spending a straight seven hours doing a piece and then closing down your PC at 1am only to spot your unsaved work vanishing from your screen.........

Old Style Photograph
An idea for scrap books is to create an old picture that suggests a fairy. These are great when children find them in treasure hunts and in old photo albums. If done carefully scorch the edges to create an appearance of age.

This was one of my earlier posts. I loved the way the little girl stuck out her tongue and I could already hear the story line, 'If you go down to the bottom of the garden and quietly look beneath the leaves you might find the shy and quiet fairy who...... oh dear
